Synchronicity

I love it when my iPod suddenly plays a song that is
perfect for the moment. Like the time I was driving
through the grapevine, and suddenly, "Wake Up" by
Arcade Fire came on just as the fireworks started to
explode over Magic Mountain. And this weekend,
"Somebody Told Me" started to play as I looked out the
airplane window and saw that beam of light shooting
out the Luxor over the Strip. (What? It's the
Killers' hometown.)

Speaking of which, there are definite advantages
clubbing in Vegas with a pack of eight girls. No
problems getting in, no lines, no cover charges and
free drink tickets.
