Ira Glass killed the snooze button

Did I dream it? Our alarm clock is set to NPR. There's nothing that will jolt you awake like hearing that Israel has invaded Lebanon, or that there's been a military coup in Thailand. Currently, a pledge drive just ended today at the local NPR affiliate, KQED, and I could have sworn that Ira Glass was on this morning, offering a DVD set of This American Life's new television show set to debut in January on Showtime in exchange for a donation. Did anyone else hear this or did I dream it? Because it's not listed on the site, and the auction has closed. Is this possible?
